2015 Spring Herd Builder Classic
If someone bids in the last 5 minutes immediately prior to the end of the auction, the online auction system will automatically extend the bidding time for a 5 minute increment (and will continue to do so) until there is a 5 minute period (after the original closing time) where no one bids, then the auction will close. This feature will leave the bidding open for all lots. Auction Company reserves the right to decrease extend time. All registered bidders will be notified via email if a change is made.

Buyers will receive an email at the close of the sale with confirmation of their purchase(s) and the total amount due. The bulk of the lots will be delivered on May 31, 2015. Buyers will be contacted to discuss possible delivery locations. If Buyer wishes to receive the original registration certificate of the lot(s) they purchased, they should send payment as soon as possible to Riverview Boer Goats, 2783 Bert-Reed Road, Felicity, OH 45120 or pay cash or certified check on delivery. Free delivery will not be made on unpaid lots unless an arrangement concerning payment is agreed to in advance.
TRANSPORTATION. Riverview Boer Goats will travel 400 miles north, east, south and west to accomplish free delivery to a central location. Addionally, Riverview Boer Goats will transport goats as far west as Salt Lake City! Buyers availing themselves of this service must meet Riverview Boer Goats at a central location within a two hour timeframe set by Riverview Boer Goats. Only one trip in each direction shall be arranged. The primary delivery date for most lots will be May 31, 2015. Free delivery is available only for lots that payment has been received prior to the delivery date unless an arrangement concerning payment is made in advance. Riverview Boer Goats and their consignors assume responsibility for injury after the sale and during delivery. If an injury occurs, the Buyer has the option to void their purchase and receive a full refund.

Miss Jimbo is a doe that we produced by taking a large doe VKV ZEUS CHARITY that we got from VK Ventures out of Minneota, Minnesota and bred her to AABG NBD JIMBO a buck that we used from Chuck Larson at Vantage Point Boer Goats in Owatonna, MN. RBGO Kellie, Now Come ON, do not accuse me of photo shopping this doe...she is really as wide as that rear shot shows. I should’ve had Robby Neal’s daughter crawl through there to prove how wide she is. Hey, that chest is the real deal also. It used to chap my ass when I went to shows and does like this smoked me. Not any more, because I can make ‘em. Anything I write about this doe’s phenotype will be stating the obvious. You can see her. Breed her to a Nigerian Dwarf and you would probably still get wider offspring than most boers. Anyhow, she is sired by an RRD Gauge, Ennob., son I never saw or owned. Just got a couple hundred straws of semen when I bought a tank and look what it produced. Her dam is a mottled and spotted doe that has all the right pieces, but not as outrageous as the daughter. He has really put this producer out of Northern Missouri on the boer goat map. On the top, she has our AABG CHASING ACES buck that has added a lot of clean breed character and length to our does. RBGO Mallory, now that’s what I’m talking about. If you want to stay relevant in the industry you need to produce does like this. And there is no better way to do that than to start with an excellent pattern. RBGO Heart of Gold is a result of a flush mating of the Hickory Grove Farm foundation sire AFB2 Braveheart, who coincidentally sells as Lot #63, and RBGO Stella, a foundation doe we sold that is out of one of our ennobled herd sires, Blue Gainey’s Yata Hey (son of DCW Bo Jangle, Ennob. and 2008 National Grand Champion). Charlene Gilliand purchased Stella and amassed 170 show points. Heart of Gold has six show points of her own and has passed visual inspection. This is how we like to make our goats at Riverview. We have been striving to add a little length while maintaining our trademark wide base. Clearly Heart of Gold has met that goal. LGF3 Little Dreamer is yet another of our July produced does from last year. She is a product of Bring It On and one of our older does, Dreamer, who has consistently produced great kids for us. This young doe is no different. She is longer than her dam thanks to Bring It On. Her ears are folded up at the ends, because of us failing to remember to correct them when she was young, they are not frosted off.. She was a summer kid. We purchased the Cartway herd in a buy-out of Richard Hausmann’s Cartway Boers. Richard was working a lot with the colored side of the Boer goat industry and had many paint and red colored animals when we purchased them. We bred this doe with our Pocket Change buck. This is a spotted 97% American purebred buck that we produced and is Lot 61 in this sale. This doe has a “spotted” head. If you have watched past national ABGA shows, then you know that SMOKIN HOT RUGER was the national premier sire for the 2012 and 2013 shows. This young doe is sharp. She has a great head and fantastic profile. She also has color in her background! Her full brother is a blood red buck that I sold earlier this year. This April 15th doe is 85% pigmented, has a slight under bite which I believe will be on once her adult teeth come in. Her main downfall is that she is 1 x 1 with one of these being a fish teat. This will make her un-showable but it is nursable. She is 26 inches at the hip and weighs 110 lbs. . I believe that this doe has the genetic package that will add something to anyone’s herd.
